Former President Donald Trump’s recent endeavor to question the validity of both the 2020 presidential election and the upcoming 2024 election has drawn criticism and ridicule from certain users on his newly established social media platform, Truth Social.
On February 5, Trump shared an extensive message on Truth Social, alleging that President Joe Biden and the Department of Justice were initiating a string of lawsuits and investigations targeting him and his associates, purportedly to meddle with the 2024 election.
Trump asserted that this represented a “novel form of deception” orchestrated by the “radical left Democrats,” deeming it unprecedented in the history of the United States.
He emphasized, “Remember, all the trials and litigation you consistently read and hear about—federal, state, and local, both criminal and civil—are brought to you by Crooked Joe Biden and his cohorts at the DOJ, with the intention of meddling in the Presidential Election of 2024. This level of blatant interference has never occurred so overtly in the USA; it’s a tactic typically associated with third-world countries. Be vigilant for it, the Radical Left Democrats’ innovative approach to deception. They are undermining our country, but we will prevail and make America great again!!!” Trump concluded.
Trump’s post, garnering over 10,000 shares and 50,000 likes on Truth Social, prompted hundreds of comments from users expressing either support or skepticism towards his assertions.

While some users applauded Trump for “revealing the truth” and “defending America,” others accused him of “playing the victim” and “spreading falsehoods.”
“Why only you? Why do you believe you’re the sole individual convinced the election was rigged? Why are you the only one facing legal actions and investigations? Maybe because you’re the only one who violated the law and breached the Constitution. Quit complaining and own up to your actions,” remarked one user.
“Truth Social is meant to be a platform for open dialogue and genuine conversation, not a tool for propagating your fantasies and conspiracy theories. You lost the election fairly, and you’ll lose again in 2024. Move on and accept it,” wrote another user.
Trump, who introduced Truth Social in October 2021 as an alternative to Twitter and Facebook – platforms that banned him following the January 6 Capitol riot – has utilized the platform to advocate for his political agenda and mobilize his support base for the upcoming 2024 election.
